- Make sure that your computer is running the latest version of JAVA. This must be up to date for the JPOS to be able to communicate directly with the receipt printer without issues.
- Use the link to the Epson Website: Epson TM-m30III Series | Support | Epson US
- Highlight/select the Downloads section.
- Use the drop down to select your current Operating System on your computer.
- Scroll down to the “Drivers” section and click to expand all of the options available.
Download the “Advanced Printer Driver” and the “TMUSB Device Driver”
- Your IT Dept needs to add and set up the printer as a new printer on the computer that will be using the JPOS.
- Launch the POS and go into “Setup”
- You will need to start with the "Receipt” tab for the printer to operate correctly within the JPOS.
- “Receipt” section (See screenshot below)
- “Printer Name” section you will select TM-m30III printer
- “Printer Model” you can select “Standard POS Printer (Drawer 1)”
- This is OPTIONAL – YOU DO NOT HAVE to adjust “Printer Settings.”
If you would like to do this, then it is suggested that you select the same “Printer Model” as the previous screen.
- Run a test print- by logging in to the JAVA POS and selecting an existing receipt from the receipt history and re-printing it.
