Use this feature to create an indicator tag. This indicator lets you know if a student has purchased that item before when it appears on the receipt in the POS or in Write New Receipt on ASBWorks. 


To create a new indicator, head over to Admin->Tag Admin->Add New Tag

 


         



  1. Type in 3 characters under Display Text. 
  2. Enter a description that will appear when you hover over the indicator
  3. Choose how the tag displays:
  4. Assigned (green) – shows only if the item is in the student’s purchase history

  5. Not Assigned (red) – shows only if the item is not in the student’s history

  6. Pick a date range for the indicator to be active. Usually, this will be the current fiscal year. *Keep in mind, the date range needs to be after the item’s effective date (or the item’s effective date needs to be blank), or else the tag won’t show up.
  7. Click Add to save your tag.
  8. You'll need to head over to Item Admin and assign the indicator to the desired items.
