Q. Can you set up only one school site?
A. Yes, you can one site. You could test this with one site.
Q. How can I tell if it is working?
A. You need to look up a student that has a fine in Destiny and call the student up in POS or Write new receipt. It will show the fine.
Q. When I click on Test Host it gives me “Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined.
A. You will have to call Destiny to get the information. Make sure all four required files are filled in.
Q. Everything is set up at the district level, but we are not seeing the fines at the school sites.
A. Is the Destiny account set up at the site level? Do you have the right school site number. The site number must come from the URL (see above)
Q. What if I do not want the Destiny fines to go into my ASB Accounts and you want it to go to a district account.
A. You will need to call us. We will need to set up a district account for the fines.
Q. When I set up the Destiny fines will it duplicate my fine or override the fines, I have in the system now?
A. It will duplicate the fines. You will need to remove the fines you have enter or send a list of the fines to ASBWorks to have them removed.
Q. What will happen if I disconnect the Destiny connection?
A. If you disconnect Destiny from ASBWorks you no longer communicating with Destiny to retrieve fine. The fine will not show up in ASBWorks until you have reconnected.
Q. If the fines in ASBWorks only show as Destiny. How can I change that so it will show on the web store the kind of fine it is. Example: broken iPad, Lost Computer…
A. This is a set-up in Destiny not ASBWorks. You can call the help desk and they will send you information on how to set up your fines in Destiny so they will come across in ASBWorks with the details.
Q. Can I pay the Destiny fine in POS Offline?
A. No, you must be connected to the internet to see Destiny fines.
Q. If students are NOT active in Destiny will the fines still show up in ASBWorks
A. No, the students need to be active in Destiny to show the fines in ASBWorks.
Q. Not all student fines are showing up.
A. You can only see the student fines that was levied at you school site in Destiny. You will not see the fine if it is transferred from another site in your district.
Q. Will Destiny fines show up on the receipt under total balance due.
A. At this time Destiny fines will not show up on the receipt.
