1. Sale / Order (Toggle) : This button allows you to toggle between sale & order mode when an adding a specific item to a receipt.

1a. Sale – Creates a receipt to show the exchange of funds for a product at the time of the receipt.

1b. Order – Creates a receipt to show the pre-order of an item to be delivered at a later time. 

2. ASB Works Menu Toggle : This button will hide/reveal access to the ASB Works Menu Icons.

3. Receipt Printer Details :  This button will display the details of the receipt printer applied to the station you are logged into. It will also allow you to clear your current receipt printer queue.

4. Search Receipts : This button will display a pop-up screen to help you search for, view, print or send a specific receipt. You can also initiate the return of an item from this pop-up screen.


4A. Search Receipt Pop-Up screen 


  1. Received From : Use this criteria field if you know the name on the receipt you are looking for.
  2. Receipt Number : Use this field if you know the number of the receipt you are looking for.
  3. Handwritten Box : Check this box if you know the desired receipt is marked as handwritten.
  4. Receipt Date Boxes : Use these date boxes to search for receipts made within a certain date range.
  5. Receipt Amount : Use these amount boxes to search for receipts within a range of dollar amounts.
  6. Find Receipt : Click this button to search when you are done entering your search criteria.
  7. Clear Inputs : This button will clear all contents entered into the search criteria fields.
  8. View Receipt :  Use this button to view the highlighted receipt from the list shown above.
  9. Print Receipt : Use this button to simply print the highlighted receipt from the list shown above.
  10. Email Receipt :  Use this button to simply send the highlighted receipt to an email address of your choice.
  11. Return Receipt : This button will initiate a return for the highlighted receipt as long as that receipt contains a product.
  12. Close : This button will close the Search Receipt popup screen entirely.

 

 

5. Minimize / Maximize Point of Sale : This button will minimize or maximize the POS on your device screen.

6. Station Selection Screen :  This button will take you back one step within the POS, to the station selection screen.

7. Station Details :  This button will display the station currently selected. It also allows you to turn the Auto Print function on or off.

8. From Field : This box Is used to record the customer you are physically receiving funds from.

9. For Field : This box is used to record the name of the student/customer who should appear on that item sales list.

10. Items Tab : Clicking this tab will display your active category and item list as it displays within Item Admin.

11. Fundraisers Tab : Clicking this tab will display your active fundraiser list and the items which are tied to those fundraisers.

12. Accounts Tab : Clicking this tab will display your active ledger account list as it displays within Accounts Admin.

13. Search Bar : Type the name of an active item, account or fundraiser and hit ‘enter’ on your keyboard to search through the tab you are inside of.

14. Qty +/- :  Use either + or – to increase / decrease the quantity of the selected item on your receipt.

15. Edit Item : This button will allow you to change the qty of the selected item as well as change who the item will be sold “For”.

16. Remove Item : Use this button to remove the selected item from the current receipt.

17. Received From Info : Clicking this button will display a pop-up screen containing individual details about the selected customer.


17A. Received From Info Pop-Up screen 

A.) This is Name & ID Number of the selected student.

B.) Individual Info : Clicking the drop down arrow will display students information as it displays in Admin >Individuals.

C.) Unpaid Items : This table will show you a list of items that the student owes a balance of debt for, the details for each item, as well as allow you to record a payment towards those open balances.

D.) CR Memo - ** Credit Memo**

This button will FORGIVE the inputted dollar amount of DEBT towards the selected item. This action CAN NOT be undone. Please use this function with caution.

E.) Make Payments to Items : This button will bring up the screen which allows you to record the payment details you are accepting.

F.) Pickups : This table will show you a list of items that have not been delivered to the selected customer yet, as well as allow you to mark those items as delivered by creating a “Pickup Receipt”

G.) Process Orders : This will finalize the delivery and will take you to the receipt number and print/send details.

H.) Close : This button will close the entire pop-up screen displaying the customer details.

 

18. New Sale :  Clicking this button will clear out all of the inputted information in the receipt screen and allow you to re-start creating a brand new receipt.

19. No Sale / Pay $ (Toggle) : This button will toggle between No Sale & Pay $

                1a. No Sale – This button will allow you to open a connected cash drawer without the completion of a sale.

                1b. Pay $ - This button will display a pop-up screen which allows you to record the specific payment information for the current transaction.

                

 19A. Payment Method Pop-Up screen 




A)  Add : Click this button once you have entered the dollar amount you are receiving in cash

B.) Date Box : Enter the date that represents when you physically received these funds (Your district may or may not enable you to backdate receipts in the program).

C.) Finish : Click this button when you are ready to create the transaction receipt.

D.) Scan Card ßà Manual : Use the bubble to initiate your card reader for card swipe or allow for a manual entry card payment.

E.) Send Info : Click this button when you are ready to charge the payment to the card and create the receipt transaction.

F.) Add : Click this button when you are ready to save the inputted payment details and create the transaction receipt.


19B. Create Receipt Pop-Up screen 

1.) Print : Check this box to print this receipt on the receipt printer indicated in the gray bar below.

2.) Send : This button will send the receipt information    to the printer and initiate the paper receipt.

3.) Email : Check this box to send an electronic copy of this receipt to the customer.

4.) Send : This button will send an electronic copy of the receipt to the inputted email address in the box to the left.

5.) Send All : Click this button to send both types of receipts to their destinations in one step.

6.) Close : This button will close the entire “Receipt Created” Pop-Up screen.
